TopFilm™

TopFilm™ is an adjuvant for use in tank mixes when you apply products (such as herbicides, insecticides, or fungicides to crops, vegetation or turf).

Unlike surfactant-based adjuvants, TopFilm™ contains absorptive microsponges to help applied product stick or bond to leaf surface. The patented microsponges, Biocar®, are made from cereal derived grain materials.

TopFilm™ is the most effective and safe adjuvant which makes your pesticides work longer (harder) and remain on the plant surfaces longer.

WHAT ARE PROBLEMS IN THE APPLICATION OF PESTICIDES?

A common problem encountered in aquatic and vegetation management is the wash off of treatments caused by rains, dew, spray mist or wakes from airboats. The process of keeping treatments from washing-off quickly is called rainfastness.

RAINFASTNESS: A "sticker" for all weather

“Rainfastness” means that materials applied to surfaces are not washed-off by rains or irrigation as easily.This "sticker" keeps the treatment on the plant rather than dissipating into the environment.

Reduced “wash-off” means you do not need to spray as often (reduced spray frequency).

Studies by universities, government agencies and cooperators in side-by-side comparison to current adjuvant products show that TopFilm™ is out-performing the surfactant-based adjuvant technology. TopFilm™ maximizes the performance of the applied treatment.

TopFilm™ on a cost per acre basis is more cost effective than current products. Current surfactant technology usually recommends 2 quarts to 1 gallon adjuvant per acre. Whereas, TopFilm’s use rate is 1/2 pint to 1 pint per acre. Less volume is applied per acre basis, lowering the chemical load on the environment.
